here at the rock lodge we publish our own monthly newspaper, keeping all of our wonderful customers up to date with all that is rock lodge and whitstable. 


The future is full of excitement at The Rock Lodge with so many ideas being implemented over the coming months! The most eagerly anticipated is the completion and Grand Opening of new 'Mont Blanc Lounge' on the first floor in early 2018.

The custom designed mural as you climb the stairs subtly adds to the already cosy feel with its snow peaked mountains and cable cars, you will feel like you have conquered Mont Blanc and earned your drink at the summit as you enter the lounge!

A fitting extension to the venue as we know it, it is enticingly in keeping with the cosy winter lodge feel of the ground floor level but with touches of luxury added at every turn. Upon entering The Mont Blanc Lounge, you will feel instantly transported into a wonderfully alpine 'Apres Ski' environment further accentuated and complemented by the sounds of its very own flowing river!

Think luxurious dining and fancy supper clubs, comfy sofas and bespoke cocktails all served up in a truly unique environment bringing a whole new experience to the town. 

There is no doubt that The Rock Lodge deserves its place in the list of 'must visit' venues in Kent. 

We can’t believe it's been a whole year since we first opened our doors and what an overwhelmingly fantastic year it has been!

As we welcome the start of December and our Birthday celebrations of last month come to a close, we want to say a HUGE thank you to the people of Whitstable for welcoming us with open arms to this amazing town and for all the support you have shown us over what has been a whirlwind 12 months!

We have so many plans for the coming year and hope that you will all enjoy sharing with us the excitement and anticipation we have for the future!

There's no denying that the launch of the new menu at The Rock Lodge has hit Whitstable with an almighty bang! Going down a storm enticing both the locals and visitor alike, with outrageously glowing reviews coming from all angles. 

The popularity of the new dishes was cemented when local friends, businesses and colleagues were invited to come and 'taste test' them at an evening launch party... the response was a unanimous thumbs up, especially from those that ordered The Rock Lodge signature 'Cliffhanger' where the waiter was met with sounds of awe and delight at the epic presentation. The menu was then rolled out publically from the 1st November and met with equally positive comments from all. 

The Sunday Roast Sessions, offering options of both sharing platters and individual meals, has most definitely stolen the show from the offset, unexpectedly selling out on the first Sunday of service and continuing to grow week on week with one customer even describing it as 'a Knock Out Sunday Roast'.

''We always believed that the launch of our new menu and the introduction of our Head Chef Adam Wrench was a success story in the making, but the response has been completely overwhelming. We are so pleased with everything The Rock Lodge team has achieved over the past months and how the work of everyone as an individual has come together and created a final product that we are incredibly proud to offer our customers''.
